Aquis Farm's Spieth (Thorn Park) sired his fourth winner on Tuesday when Velvet Haze (2 f ex Omniscient by Exceed And Excel) broke her maiden on debut at Port Macquarie. 

The Kris Lees-trained Velvet Haze, a $87,500 Magic Millions Gold Coast National Yearling Sale last year by Australian Bloodstock, beat De Lovely Lad (Mikki Isle) by a length and a half in a maiden over 1000 metres. 

Velvet Haze is out of the stakes placed Exceed And Excel (Danehill) mare Omniscient and her stakes placed half-sister Ashema (I Am Invincible) is catalogued as Lot 582 for the forthcoming Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in the draft of Blue Sky Premium Consignment. 

Spieth will stand at Aquis Farm in Queensland for an unchanged fee of $8,800 (inc GST) this spring.
