The Aidan O’Brien-trained Chief Little Hawk (2 c ex Marylebone by Unbridled's Song) was the second starter for former Coolmore Stud shuttler Air Force Blue (War Front) and became the second winner as he took out the Irish Stallion Farms EBF (5f) at Navan on Wednesday.

The two-year-old colt pulled clear in the final stages to beat The Blue Panther (Buratino) by a length and a quarter with another length and a half back to Hyde Park Barracks - who is also by Air Force Blue.

The colt, who is now likely to head towards Royal Ascot next week, is out of two-time winner Marylebone (Unbridled's Song) making him a half-brother Listed winner Bow Bells (Giant’s Causeway).

Marylebone herself is a half-sister to the dam of Grade 2 winner Alpha Kitten (Tale Of The Cat).

Air Force Blue was provided with his first winner when Beauty Queen scored at Gulfstream on Saturday.

Air Force Blue shuttled to Coolmore Stud in Australia for one season in 2019 where he covered 119 mares and the son of War Front (Danzig) now stands exclusively at Coolmore’s Ashford Stud base in Kentucky, where his fee in 2020 was advertised US$15,000.
