Former Darley shuttler Night Of Thunder (Dubawi) was handed his 12th stakes winner on Saturday courtesy of Auyantepui’s (3 f ex Sopran Enery by Montjeu) victory in the Premio Mario Della Rocchetta (Listed, 2000m) in Milan.

The three-year-old filly, who came into the race off the back of her maiden debut victory last month, beat Norohna (Spirit One) into second with Napule (Swiss Spirit) coming home in third.

The filly is one of three winners out of winning Montjeu (Sadler’s Wells) mare Sopran Enery, who is herself out of Group 2 winner Sopran Londa (Danehill), making her a half-sister Group 1 winner Cima De Triomphe (Galileo) and Listed winner Sopran Montieri (Manduro) and three time winner Sopran Lori (Irish River).

Sopran Lori herself produced Group 3 winner Loritania (Teofilo) and Listed scorer Lo Zoccolo Duro (Acclamation).

Auyantepui became the ten the stakes winner from Night Of Thunder’s first crop and he is currently firing at a 12.8 per cent stakes winners to runners.

The son Dubawi (Dubai Millennium) shuttled to Australia for one season and his southern hemisphere crop is headed by two stakes winners, including Group 2 winner A Beautiful Night.
