The Joseph Tuite-trained Lullaby Moon (2 f ex Bold Bidder - Indesatchel) ran out an impressive winner of the EBF fillies' novice over five furlongs and in the process became the fourth first-crop winner for Haunui Farm shuttler Belardo (Lope De Vega) who has made a good start to his stallion career.

The two-year-old filly stayed on well to beat Stream (Frankel) by two and a quarter lengths with another half a length back to Kohinoor (Adaay) in third.

Purchased by D Tunmore / GB Horseracing for 16,000gns at Book 2 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale from the Bearstone Stud draft, the filly is out winning mare Bold Bidder, who has produced two other winners.

Further back this is the family of Group 2 winner Mind Games (Puissance).

Belardo has made a good start to his career as a stallion Lullaby Moon joins Isabella Giles - who won on Saturday - Golden Melody and Got Luck as the stallion's other stakes winners.

The stallion will stand at Haunui Farm for a fee of NZ$10,000 (plus GST) in 2020.
