The pensioned Juddmonte Farms stallion Dansili (Danehill) chalked up his 145th stakes winner on Thursday when the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Sorrel (3 f ex Anice Stellato by Dalakhani) took out the River Eden Fillies’ Stakes (Listed, 1m5f) at Lingfield.

A winner of her two previous starts, the three-year-old filly continued her winning thread when beating Elizabethofaragon (Galileo) by a length and three-quarters, while Domino Darling (Golden Horn) was another nose away in third.

The filly is out of dual winning mare Anice Stellato (Dalakhani), making her a half-sister to Group 2 winner Agnes Stewart (Lawman).

Meanwhile further back the filly hails from the same family as Group 1 winner Definite Article (Indian Ridge), Group 2 scorer Salford Express (Be My Guest) and Group 3 winner Salford City (Desert Sun).

Dansili was pensioned in 2018 due to declining fertility.
