Skalleti (6 g ex Skallet by Muhaymin) continued his winning streak when taking out the Prix d’Ispahan (Gr 1, 1800m) at Longchamp and in doing so provided his sire Kendargent (Kenmore) with his first Group 1 winner.

Having his third start of his six-year-old season, Skalleti was settled towards the rear of the field. He started to make ground with 500 metres left to travel and then ran on strongly in the closing stages and scored by a head from Tilsit (First Defense). My Oberon (Dubawi) was a short neck further back in third.

Skalleti is one of three winners, from as many foals to race, out of the Listed winning mare Skallet (Muhaymin) who has also produced stakes placed gelding Skalleto (Kendardent) and Group 2 winner Skazino (Kendargent).

Kendargent stands at Haras de Colleville in France where his 2021 fee was set at €10,000. Skalleti and Skazino are two of 33 stakes winners for their sire who has also produced Group 2 winners Jimmy Two Times, Restiadargent, SKy Full Of Stars and Tokyo Gold.
