The Richard Hannon-trained Love Billy Boy (2 c ex Katrine by Kodiac) provided Yeomanstown Stud's Invincible Army (Invincible Spirit) with his first winner when he scored on debut at Musselburgh on Sunday.

Racing prominently throughout the five furlong contest under Sean Levey, the Yeomanstown Stud-bred Love Billy Boy ran on in the closing stages of the EBF Novice Stakes (5f) to defeat Moonstone Boy (Calyx) by three quarters of a length.

A Group winner as a two, three and four-year-old, Invincible Army stood his first season at stud in 2020 for a fee of €10,000 and Yeomanstown Stud reduced his fee to €7,500 for the subsequent three seasons.
