Having purchased Stellar Pauline (Not A Single Doubt), who is a leading contender for Saturday's Magic Millions 2YO Classic (RL, 1200m) last year, American agent John Moynihan was back on the Gold Coast buying on behalf of Stonestreet and he snapped up a I Am Invincible filly for $750,000.

Offered as Lot 102, the filly is the fourth foal out of the dual Group Three winner Augusta Proud (More Than Ready) who also won the 2008 Magic Millions 2YO Classic (RL, 1200m).

She has already produced the Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) winner Thyme For Roses (Redoute's Choice) and further back this is the family of dual Grade 1 winner Mercedes Won (Air Forbes Won) and New Zealand Oaks (Gr 1, 2400m) winner She's Country (Kenfair).

Moynihan bought into a family he knows well with Stonestreet having purchased Thyme For Roses for $800,000 at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale in 2017.

"She's a beautiful filly, she looks like she will be early," Moynihan said. "We actually own her sister and she's one of our broodmares back in the United States, Thyme For Roses. We're tickled to get her."

Moynihan said he was a great admirer of Augusta Proud and is hoping the filly has inherited some of her mother's talent.

"She as a very, very good racehorse," he said. "We hope she can be as half as good as her Mum."

Moynihan also gave an update on Stellar Pauline ahead of her crack at the $2 million race at the Gold Coast on Saturday and also revealed that Stonestreet's Barbara Banke would be travelling to Australia to watch the filly in the 1200 metre race.

"We bought here last year, so far she is doing super. Peter (Snowden) is really happy with her and hopefully he can turn this one into another Stellar Pauline.

"She's definitely going to be fitter and sharper. I expect her to improve a good four or five lengths off her last run. We are lot fitter this time. We'd hope for a better run.

"It's our first horse in the Magic Millions. Barbara is coming down, we are really excited," Moynihan said.

"As well as Stellar Paulinewe are going to have two or three other fillies coming up soon that are two. We own some small pieces with Henry Field at Newgate, We own a piece of Reignite, and we've got a couple of other trialling here soon. We don't have that many, but we are excited about the ones that are hitting the track."
