Tattersalls catalogue 157 lots for Guineas Breeze Up Sale.
Tattersalls has announced that 157 two-year-olds have been catalogued for their Guineas Breeze Up Sale which will be held on July 8. The breeze will take place at Newmarket's Rowley Mile on July 6, starting at 9am.
Graduates of the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze Up Sale have made a good start since the resumption of racing headed by James Tate's Far Above (Farhh), the impressive winner of the Palace House Stakes (Gr 3, 5f) at Newmarket last week.
Sires with juveniles catalogued include Exceed And Excel (Danehill), Kitten's Joy (El Prado), Night Of Thunder (Dubawi), Sea The Stars (Cape Cross), Starspangledbanner (Choisir), Teofilo (Galileo). The first crop of Belardo (Lope De Vega), Pride Of Dubai (Street Cry) and Shalaa (Invincible Spirit) are also represented.
"Guineas Breeze Up graduates have excelled since the resumption of racing with recent Group 3 Palace House Stakes winner Far Above showcasing the quality and value for money that buyers have come to expect from the sale. This year's catalogue features a strong selection of quality two-year-olds that we are confident will appeal to buyers in all sectors of the market," said Tattersalls chairman Edmond Mahoney.
