A colt by former Coolmore Australia shuttler Uncle Mo (Indian Charlie) was the top lot on day one of the OBS Spring Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Traing when he was bought for US2.3 million by Gary Young as agent for Zedan Racing Stables on Tuesday.

The bay colt had breezed in a time of 9.4 seconds at Monday's under tack session. He was offered by Top Line Sales as Lot 206 and is the first foal out of the unplaced mare Borealis Night (Astrology).

Young, for the same connections also went to US$600,000 for a son of fellow Coolmore Stud sire Justify (Scat Daddy). Offered early in the sale as Lot 11 by Hidden Brook, the colt is out of the stakes place made Unbound (Distorted Humor) and he had breezed in a time of 10 seconds.
