Much of the breeding talk last week surrounded a first-season stallion at Coolmore and it could again be a topic of conversation this week at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale.

The two-day offering gives buyers the first chance to secure progeny from the stallions who stood their first season in Australia in 2020, one of which was Yes Yes Yes.

The son of Rubick is the only winner of The Everest at stud and has nine weanlings in the 417-lot catalogue, that will be offered at Warwick Farm on Wednesday and Thursday.

"We couldn't be happier with the quality of the Yes Yes Yes stock that we've seen on the ground," Coolmore's Tom Moore said.

"His progeny were always going to be well sought-after at yearling sales and we can only imagine the buying bench at the upcoming weanling sales, whether they be pinhookers or end users, will have Yes Yes Yes on their shortlist of stallions to target being one of the highest-profile stallions of his year."

Yes Yes Yes covered 205 mares in his first season, when he stood for $38,500, before covering 175 last year, when he also stood for $38,500.

There will be a 10-minute period early on Wednesday when he will have four of five lots go through (Lots 40, 42, 43, 44), including a half-sister to Theanswermyfriend and a colt out of a half-sister to Super One, who both are part of the Fairhill Farm draft.

On Day 2 he has two lots to be offered including a Sledmere Stud filly out of Soleil Brulant, who is a daughter of Harlem Heat, a half-sister to Yes Yes Yes's dam Sin Sin Sin.

"The sentiment surrounding the quality of his foals is unbelievable from breeders that have supported him throughout the country and the fact that he covered so many mares in his second season is a testament to what breeders thought of the first foals last season," Moore said.

"As an Everest winner, he is one of the best three-year-old sprinters we've seen in Australia for a long time and as a result we expect his first foals to sell extremely well."

Yes Yes Yes's contemporary, Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Exceedance, Pierata, Microphone, Castelvecchio, Brutal and Darley shuttlers Too Darn Hot and Blue Point are among the other first-season stallions with youngsters in this week's catalogue.

Coolmore is also eager to see how Magna Grecia's progeny are received given he is a half-brother to St Mark's Basilica, who was announced last week as standing for $44,000 at Coolmore later this year.

"Being a son of Invincible Spirit and a half-brother to St Mark's Basilica, it is no surprise he is one of the best-looking horses on our roster, as is typical of the Invincible Spirit sire line," Moore said.

"We couldn't be happier with the quality of his stock and we will present a number of outstanding foals of his at the weanling sales this year."
