The Shug McGaughey-trained Greatest Honour (3 c Tapit - Tiffany's Honour by Street Cry) landed his third successive win when he landed the Fountain Of Youth (Gr 2, 8.5f) at Gulfstream Park and he will now head to the Kentucky Derby (Gr 1, 10f) via the Florida Derby (Gr 1, 9f).

The son of Tapit (Pulpit) was last seen taking out the Holy Bull Stakes (Gr 3, 8.5f) and he showed a glittering turn of foot to beat Drain The Clock (Maclean's Music) by a length and a half. Papetu (Dialed In) was a further two lengths away in third.

"That was really something today. He gathered up those horses pretty quickly once he got outside," McGaughey said.

"The impressive part was that everything didn't go our way and he was still able to catch a pretty darn good horse (in Drain the Clock). A speed horse on this racetrack is not always easy to catch so I'm really pleased with the performance. I'm really pleased with where we stand and I'm glad we don't have to run him 1 1/16 miles anymore."

Greatest Honour is out of unplaced Street Cry (Machiavellian) Tiffany’s Honour and she is herself a daughter of Grade 2 winner and Grade 1-placed Better Than Honour (Deputy Minister).

Better Than Honour is also the dam of Grade 1 winners Rags To Riches (A.P. Indy) and Casino Drive (Mineshaft) and Listed winner, while she is also the grandam of fellow elite level winner Streaming (Smart Strike).
