Aquis Farm has appointed experienced breeding industry manager Paddy Power to the position of Chief Operations Officer.
Born and raised in Ireland, Power undertook a Master’s in Business Studies at University College Dublin and worked for Goodbody Stockbrokers before relocating to the Hunter Valley in NSW in 2012 to work for Coolmore Australia as their Business Manager.
Whilst at Coolmore he was also a member of the Coolmore Australia Advisory Board and is currently the treasurer of TBNSW and treasurer of HTBA.He was also an integral part of the team that fought Anglo American’s application to build an open cut coal mine adjacent to Coolmore Australia and Darley Woodlands.
Power will join the team at Aquis Farm on March 4.Aquis Farm CEO, Shane McGrath said: “Aquis Farm has seen significant growth over the past four years.
“Bringing someone of Paddy’s calibre onto the team will be a significant asset in supporting Aquis Farm’s continued growth and development in Australia and helping to realise the Fung family’s full vision for Aquis Farm into the future”.
