Not A Single Doubt Colt Going Strong

3 minute read

Million dollar colt Stronger pressed his claims a stud prospect with his first Group win at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

A son of Not A Single Doubt, Stronger took a big step as a valuable stallion with his classy win over another high class colt Accession in the G3 Ken Russell Memorial Classic.

It was the third win in seven starts for the 2YO colt, a $1,050,000 purchase by James Harron Bloodstock from the Arrowfield Stud draft at the 2018 Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

Stronger (Not A Single Doubt x Star Pupil by Starcraft) is trained by Peter and Paul Snowden for a syndicate managed by Harron who have invested millions in high-end colts as future stud prospects.

Stronger is the second winner produced by Star Pupil, a winning sister to the two-time stakeswinner Ain’tnofallenstar and a half-sister to black type scorers Bachman (All American) and Stepitup (Hussonet).

His second dam is the stakes winner and G1-placed mare Ain’t Seen Nothin’ (Nothin’ Leica Dane).

Star Pupil has a yearling brother to Stronger, who is the 65th stakes winner by Not A Single Doubt.

He also became Not A Single Doubt’s 22nd lifetime 2YO stakeswinner and his 13th stakeswinner this season.

Not A Single Doubt’s Saturday results also included his 2YO daughter Balaabel finishing second on debut in the Listed Queen Adelaide Stakes at Morphettville and 3YO filly Fidelia recording her third success in seven starts at Flemington.

They pushed Not A Single Doubt’s 2018/19 prizemoney by more than $320,000 to $9.1 million, putting him on course for his fourth consecutive $10 million-plus Australian season.

Stronger’s yearling full brother is one of three Not A Single Doubt colts catalogued for next month’s Magic Millions National Sale at the Gold Coast.
