The Jebel Hatta heads up the turf action on Super Saturday at the Meydan, the main lead up card to World Cup Night in three weeks time.

The Jebel Hatta has been farmed by the home team in recent years, blue being worn to success in five of the past six runnings, and they have a strong looking three pronged attack in 2021 headed up by the resuming Al Suhail.

The Appleby stable lose Zakouski who did us a favour knocking off Lord Glitters for us last time and we are again against Lord Glitters here with the betting making Al Suhail and Lord Glitters roughly equal favourites early doors.

Lord Glitters has been terrific in Dubai this term, winning the Singspiel really well before the tempo caught him out in the Al Rashidiya last time. That tempo flattered Court House, as does his price in this market.

Lord Glitters' late splits there were terrific and he must have a great hope again but in Al Suhail he meets one better than Zakouski and perhaps better than him.

Al Suhail flopped in the Guineas but his demolition of some useful horses in the listed Henry Cecil was backed up by a fast time that has him stamped as a potential Group One horse and his resuming in a key trial for World Cup night would suggest that the stable see him in that light as well.

Second through fourth from the Zabeel Mile line up to take him on, with Art Du Val the best fancied of that trio, but they were all flattered behind D'Bai in a weak edition of that race and make little real appeal here against a horse like Al Suhail who has a very ominous look about him.

In the Nad Al Sheba Turf Sprint, a trial for the Al Quoz, Appleby and Buick again team up with an ominous-looking runner en route to World Cup night but prices about Royal Crusade in a deeper and more competitive race aren't quite as appealing as those being bet about Al Suhail.

Odds-on Walton Street in the City Of Gold, a trial for the Sheema Classic, are hard to stomach given his age and exposure. Good as he may have been last time, Dubai Future is likely to prove a tougher nut to crack now that he has been out and won well himself since, and Dubai Warrior is a better horse when right - he just has to bring it the turf.

Recommended Bets: Back Al Suhail in the Jebel Hatta.
