The Carnival rolls on at the Meydan with the Group Two Zabeel Mile headlining a good card this Thursday. At the front of the market sit two trained by Charlie Appleby and the Racing and Sports Priceline sees them the other way around to the early betting.

Stable jockey William Buick rode Zakouski to win on his return at the Meydan seven weeks ago but opts to ride last year's Zabeel Mile winner Mythical Magic instead tonight. Mythical Magic prepped up every bit as well as he did last year and holds an obvious chance but the sharp rating and massive upside of Zakouski appeals to the model and he is a bet worth having.
Zakouski is in a sense the younger, fresher version of Mythical Magic. And Dream Castle is a year older again. He has a hope with his best ratings great for this but he lacks upside against not only Zakouski but Mythical Magic and both are preferred.
