Say From SA: Morphettville Parks – 20th July 2019

3 minute read

Can’t see the Morphettville Parks track being anything other than rain affected once again this weekend in a day of small fields.

Morphettville

Happy to give a three year old heading over the border a big play in Race 4 with Cafe Tortoni one to back.

The Patrick Payne runner had been racing well on affected tracks and following a trial win, he won again at Sale on good ground so he's clearly not just a wet tracker.

Running in some famous colours (Tie The Knot), he should only be getting better over further on breeding as well.

As long as barrier one is not a drawback in the small field, happy to stay on the Payne stable who are going nicely.

Now that he is out to the mile and a half, it looks a great way for More Than Ever to make it back to back wins in Race 7.

This son of More Than Ready got home strongly at the shorter trip two weeks ago when supported in the betting.

He's now perfectly set up to peak again on ground that he handles well.

Sitting on the limit, he can get a soft run from the draw up near the speed and prove hard to run by.
