RACE 1

1st Pick: TIGER LEAP (6) The run last time was not as bad as it may seem on paper and it is worth giving this Steven Burridge-trained runner another chance.
2nd Pick: BLITZ POWER (8) Will be powering home late when others have had enough.
3rd Pick: CAVALLA COURT (1) Leading jockey Vlad Duric is booked and a bold run at this level is not beyond him.
4th Pick: AWESOME CONQUEROR (4) The return to the mile is a big help. He should make his presence felt here.

RACE 2

1st Pick: EIGHT BALL (5) Vastly-improved at second start. Removal of blinkers seems to have improved him out of sight. On that form, he can oblige here.
2nd Pick: STRONG N SMART (1) Expected to show better side back on Polytrack. Pacifiers on, tongue-tie off. Among one of the leading hopes.
3rd Pick: ELLIOT NESS (13) Barrier trials have been pretty smart. Solid claims if he gets a berth.
4th Pick: OUR SECRET WEAPON (2) Letdown in the Group 3 Singapore Golden Horseshoe. Tipped out since and can go well fresh.

RACE 3

1st Pick: FEDERATION (1) Gallant second to In All His Glory when eased back in class last time out. Has drawn an alley. Big say.
2nd Pick: STYLE (7) Has not fared too badly in two runs. Making slow headway and with champion jockey Vlad Duric doing the steering, he may well land a blow here.
3rd Pick: THE ARCHER (13) Scored in a thriller last start but faces stiffer opposition here. Worth some thought for a place.
4th Pick: GALAXY STAR (11) Another one with the In All His Glory formline. Ran on for fourth that day. Include in calculations.

RACE 4

1st Pick: MALIBU BEACH (8) Loomed like a winner but could not quite finish it off on debut. Winkers on. Will strip fitter and can go one better even if barrier is stickier this time.
2nd Pick: HAPPY FRIDAY (2) Hitting around the mark these days and has maintained his form. Shapes up as a main contender in this.
3rd Pick: WHO LOVES BAE (1) Showed some potential at his two barrier trials. Not so lucky at the barrier draw, though. Pays to follow, nonetheless.
4th Pick: GRAND FIGHTER (7) Newcomer who has shown fair form at his barrier trials. Awkward alley is a query. May have to settle for a place first-up.

RACE 5

1st Pick: WELL DESERVED (5) Vlad Duric has a brilliant record on this James Peters-trained grey and he is the pick here.
2nd Pick: PAPERBACK TROOPER (7) A standing dish at this level and should give his running again.
3rd Pick: PHAXE (8) Still a maiden but ran very well last time out and a repeat of that should see him go well.
4th Pick: PLANTER (4) On old form, he wouldn't be out of this at all.

RACE 6

1st Pick: ASAAD (2) A horse in excellent form and has the services of multiple champion rider Vlad Duric. Commands respect.
2nd Pick: DON DE LA VEGA (9) Has won a recent trial and looked very good in the process. Unexposed on the surface and could be good value here.
3rd Pick: LEATHERHEAD (1) Course record holder over the mile and is another in very good form.
4th Pick: MIGHTY EMPEROR (10) If in the mood, it is not impossible that he can be right amongst it at the business end here.

RACE 7

1st Pick: RED RIDING WOOD (1) No spring chicken but ran like a rejuvenated horse at last run. Nice low draw and the booking of Vlad Duric is another pointer. Maps out well for this. Winkers on. Go close.
2nd Pick: BIG REGARDS (8) Bombed his start as the favourite last time. Made up some ground late. Drawn in one again. Blinkers off. Can atone.
3rd Pick: SCOOBY DOO (2) Let down nicely for first run of note last start. On the up and it won't surprise if he puts his best foot forward again.
4th Pick: GIANT KILLING (12) Doesn't win out of turn but has been running on fairly of late. Switch back to turf not necessarily a good thing but he can still sneak into the minors.

RACE 8

1st Pick: SUPER RAY (3) Ran on strongly at his last outing. Will lap up additional 200m. Handy draw enhances his chances.
2nd Pick: RED CLAW (2) Blinkers have sharpened him up. Last two runs were full of merit. If he reproduces that form, he should be in with a shout in this.
3rd Pick: LIM'S SHOT (7) The 1100m trip was too short at last two runs. Six furlongs should suit better. Place claims.
4th Pick: FIGHT TO VICTORY (6) Likely to go forward. Place chance if he is left alone in front.

RACE 9

1st Pick: MY DREAMLINER (7) It could be worth taking a chance with this fellow given he has very good course and distance form and is nicely handicapped.
2nd Pick: SACRED REBEL (3) In good form and has conditions to suit. Leading player.
3rd Pick: SUPER INVINCIBLE (10) Up in grade here but won well last time out in a Class 3 and must be respected. Open to further improvement.
4th Pick: ZAC KASA (2) Fourth in the Lion City Cup and is lightly raced and a winner on this surface. One to include.

RACE 10
1st Pick: PATTAYA (5) - Gets the vote. Has been stringing up a series of good performances and should be cherry-ripe for the win here.
2nd Pick: TRADING POST (3) - Needed the run at comeback race but still ran below expectations. Better run in store second-up.
3rd Pick: SPEEDY MISSILE (10) - Loomed as a major threat last start. Seldom disappoints. Faces tough opposition but is well in and can still take a hand in this.
4th Pick: HEAVENLY DANCER (1) - Consistent sort who has done nothing wrong in five starts. Has found one better at last three starts. Short Course won't help his cause, though, but he will still be in the mix.
