RACE 1

SUN RECTITUDE: Downgrades and finds itself back on the turf for the first time since his win on March 5th. Iskandar back on board bringing his weight down to 57kg, looks the one to beat.

BEAT THE LIGHT: It's fair to say that this son of Drumbeats has really done much wrong in his last three starts. Despite the big weight, this recent form also shows us he can perform at this grade with a heavy weight and Lerner stays on board who seems to get the best out of him.

BEER GARDEN: Must be considered a top three player going off recent runs. He does get a wide gate to contend with this weekend and find himself back on the turf, but with the 55kg thanks to apprentice Akmazani, he must be considered for the multiples.

CHARGER: Downgrades this weekend and the blinkers go back on. Couldn't get near them up in class 4 but recent runs on the turf have been better so the switch back to turf should be welcomed. Keep safe.

RACE 2

FLASHFAST: Up in distance and onto the turf for his second start in Singapore. Should take natural improvement from the debut run and the booking of Nunes is also a plus.

BINGO MASTER: Last start second was very eye catching in behind Song Of Nature closing off well. Slight concern that not only does this horse drop back to 1400 metres but has also had eight attempts at the grade trying to win its first race. Must be considered a threat.

EALAMI: Back onto the turf this weekend is a big plus for this Clements galloper. Draws well to find a nice position in the run and be closing off well late in the race.

GENERATION M: Last trial on April 19th was solid and with the blinkers going on for this debut run, it wouldn't shock to see him in the finish. He looks the pick of the debutants and is worth throwing in exotic plays.

RACE 3

FROM THE NAVY – Finds a very fair field in this grade and gets a chance to add another win to his tally. In five starts over the C/D he has only missed the top four once and will be a big watch on him. Drawn very handy in barrier one.

SPEEDY MISSILE – Didn't have a lot of luck last start when bumped on jumping and held up for majority of the race. Racing well over the last year and comes into this field as a leading contender.

AUGUSTANO – Last time he raced in Class four was back in 2017 and has been a handy horse for many years. Getting on in age and amassed nearly $500,000 in prizemoney. Watch the market.

LIM'S ZOOM – Works his way back up to class 4 after a nice win last start. Performs very well on this course and a surprise run wouldn't be a shock in this field.

RACE 4

SILKARDO: Closed off like the winner but was held up for a run at a crucial stage. That race has been a good form race in recent weeks, gets 50kg this weekend before the claim.

KWAZII: Was a tragedy beat last start at this grade on the poly getting stuck three wide the trip. Gets a much better chance on the turf this weekend but does spot horses like Silkardo potentially 10kg which could be his undoing.

MELODY FAIR: Trialled incredibly well ahead of this weekend's start. Didn't light it up on the clock but to the eye, it was sharp work. Finds a couple that might be hard to beat. but needs to be considered as a top three player.

LIM'S HOPEFULLY: Up to the mile is a bit of a question mark for this son of Holy Roman Emperor however, he is weighted well enough to maybe make an impression late when others with heavier weights start to tire.

RACE 5

LUCKY JINSHA – This years talking point for most improved horse lines up for his sixth win in a row and continues to improve each run. Trialed strongly between runs and looks like he will get plenty of market support.

KING'S COMMAND – Has a very sharp course and distance record for this race and will be suited by the long course. Gets back and runs some electric sectionals. With good pace early he will be flying.

HEARTENING FLYER – Meets a competitive field but his last start he had to face the unbeaten Lim's Kosciuszko and wasn't disgraced catching the eye running the same final 400m sectional as the winner that day.

IRON RULER – Lightweight chance who was brave running second to Lucky Jinsha at his previous start. Will have that weight advantage and can finish off strongly.

RACE 6

SUN PALACE: Nunes jumps back on for the first time since their narrow second to Tony's Love carrying a very similar weight. Between now and then, Sun Palace has been class 4 proven carrying a light weight and looks to be a horse in a good patch of form to be tackling a class 5 affair like this.

BEBOP: Spotting new colours and new owners this weekend and despite having not won over the mile on poly in 14 attempts, his last run over 1700 was superb coming from well back to run a nice second behind stable mate. Keeping safe.

FOOTSTEPSONTHECAR: Solid tough win last time over the track and distance. Spots a light weight again, place chance.

ANGEL HALO: Despite the poor draw, gets into this field with nothing to carry and is coming off a solid second behind Silver Joy where he was arguably unlucky not to win.

RACE 7

EAGLE EYE – Came from ninth on the turn last start to fly home beaten half a length and clocking 23.77 for the last 400m. Has won over this trip and will be hitting the line strongly.

IN ALL HIS GLORY – Last start was a bit of a write off in terms of conditions on the day. The rain came heavily before the race and was just too heavy for him. Made a mid-race move and looked a threat but just peaked on his run. Can bounce back here.

DEN OF THIEVES – Comes into this race four points higher than his last career victory. Stable is flying and trialed strongly since his last start on the Polytrack.

ON LINE – Has run in group company in the past and makes his way back to class 4 this week. Gets the aid of a four-kilogram claim and can surprise here.

RACE 8

BRUTUS - Holds a 50% first two placing when racing over this course and distance for the strong Logan stable. Looks well placed and with luck in the run will be in the multiples.

PATTAYA – Strong statistics for this race with two wins and a placing from three starts over this course and distance. There is only an eight-point spread for this race and looks a big player.

HADEER – On speed runner who likes to be up there and put the pressure on the field. Rates well for this and performs well in this class. Market watch.

CRYSTAL WARRIOR – Looking for a hat-trick of wins but makes the shift to the turf after being dominant on the Polytrack at his last two starts. Trialed nicely since his last win and must be in contention.

RACE 9

SEE YAH: On the quick backup coming off a win last week. Two-time winner track and distance in seven attempts. Horse is fit and strikes a division 2 company race again.

GALAXY STAR: Last time on the turf over this distance he was beaten less than a length. 59kg is a slight concern be he must be considered being a horse who has finished in the top 4 on six of nine attempts track and distance.

SUN ELIZABETH: Big winner two starts ago flashing home from the back. Requires a solid race tempo to race at her best. Wide barrier is not a concern as she gets back. Hopefully, she gets a tempo to suit, keep her safe in the numbers.

VOLUNTAD: Only a one-time winner in Singapore but can surprise occasionally with a nice run and rarely races in anything other than 1200m races on turf. Has solid form around a few horses who will be the favourites her and Lerner stays on board. Wouldn't shock to see him in the frame.

RACE 10

LIM'S KOSCIUSZKO – Classy galloper who meets his toughest field yet in his short but dominant career. Likes to jump quickly and with a comfortable run he will be giving them all something to catch.

KATAK – Looked nice with a strong trial win since his previous win back in February. He has big race plans on his radar and will be among the leading chances in this. Just the one run at this distance and won convincingly.

LIM'S LIGHTNING – Last year's horse of the year who claimed three Group one wins and has had plenty of trials for his first up assault. He will be hitting the line strongly and strip fitter from this.

MR MALEK – Won a group two race last season and has been catching the eye in some of his recent runs. Comes into this on a very lightweight and has mixed it with leading players in this field.

RACE 11

TOM CAT – Get back and run-on style of runner who was brave running second to Pattaya last start. Can run fast sectionals and has won over this distance in the past. Watch for any market support.

BE YOU – Finished just over two lengths at his previous start. Only a lightly raced gelding who meets probably the easiest field for some time and at his best can see him winning here.

PROOF PERFECT – A one time winner who has been runner up on two occasions also. Caught the eye winning a trial in nice time last week and could be one who surprises.

VGOR – Got a win on the Polytrack last start at good odds. Gets his chance to go back-to-back in the weaker division of this race. His win came on the synthetic surface but has run well on turf before.
