Filly is proving a smart purchase for owner Megan Evans.
Declaring Love made it three wins from four starts since joining John Butler with victory in the Whitsbury Manor Stud/British EBF Lansdown Stakes at Bath.
Snapped up by owner Megan Evans at the sales in November, the ex-Charlie Appleby-trained filly is proving a shrewd buy at 39,000 guineas.
Her previous wins had come at six furlongs on the all-weather at Wolverhampton, but the drop to the minimum trip on turf proved to her liking as she dug deep to get back up and beat Wise Words by a head, claiming Listed honours.
Jessica Harrington's Irish raider Dickiedooda was another length and three-quarters back in third.
The 100-30 winner was ridden by Pat Cosgrave, who told Sky Sports Racing: "I spoke to Adam (Kirby) this morning, who'd won on before. Obviously she has a very good pedigree, from where she came from. She's a big, scopey filly who probably just needed a bit of time.
"I was quite pleased, as I actually got headed at the furlong pole and she battled back.
"It's a bit undulating the last furlong, and a big, leggy filly (like her) – she just got a bit unbalanced with me. I think on nicer, flat track she'd be even more impressive.
"I wouldn't be afraid to go back up another furlong."
