In the 5f EBF Novice Stakes (1:55), Godolphin is represented by Blue Point colt Ocean Runner. His dam Most Beautiful was a winner of the 6f Group 3 Grangecon Stud Stakes at the Curragh as a juvenile and he faces significantly easier opposition than his debut at Ascot. He was only beaten two lengths into fourth (of five) and may prove difficult to beat.

His main opposition looks like Roger Varian's Matloob, who was well-supported on debut at Doncaster and should improve from a disappointing fourth. William Haggas' Boneless costs 205,000 guineas at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale and should be competitive if showing similar speed.

Impressive Act is the horse to beat in the 6f EBF Maiden Stakes (2:30), having finished second behind Royal Ascot prospect Cuban Thunder at York. The first raced foal of Group 3 Nell Gwyn Stakes winner Dabyah, the Dubawi colt costs 650,000 guineas at the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale (Book 1).

First season sire Calyx is represented by Perianth, who was purchased for 65,000 guineas by trainer Pam Sly at the Craven Breeze Up Sale and makes her racecourse debut. Mehmas colt Fusterlandia represents prolific owners Amo Racing and is ridden by Kevin Stott, who has been enjoying a run of good form.

In the 7f Class 5 0-70 Fillies Handicap (3:00), Pam Sly's Torfrida makes her handicap debut after a success at Doncaster. She was a good third over course and distance on her first start and continues to improve with each run. Liberty Mountain ran into a good winner when beaten four-and-a-half lengths into second at Newmarket and can feature if showing the same level of form.

Olympic winning event rider Sir Mark Todd is represented by Prophet's Dream in the 1m2f Class 4 0-80 Handicap (3:30). The four-year-old was an impressive five length winner on reappearance at Bath and remains lightly raced. He faces Tudor, who won his first two starts for new trainer Kevin Philippart De Foy and has not been disgraced since a break with a third and a fourth at Lingfield on the all-weather.

The 7f Class 5 Claiming Stakes (4:00) looks an open affair with seven runners engaged whilst the 6f Class 5 0-70 Fillies Handicap (4:30) features last start winner Destined. Trained by Michael Dods, she returned after a six month break with an impressive three-and-a-half length success at Redcar and remains on a fair mark. The card concludes with an eleven-runner 1m2f Class 6 0-55 Handicap (5:05), where Raincloud will be bidding to break her maiden for Alice Haynes.
