Trainer Hugo Palmer is to step up in class with the son of Famous Name for the seven-furlong Group Three prize on September 22.

After making a winning debut at Newbury in July, the two-year-old demonstrated a good turn of foot to make it two wins from as many starts in a Listed event his return to the track last month.

Palmer said: "The plan is to go to the Somerville Tattersall Stakes on September 22. He does have a Dewhurst entry but I don't know if I want to run him again this year as he is very much next year's horse.

"Part of me would adore to win the Tattersall Stakes and take him into the winter an unbeaten horse. If, however, he does win the that race (Tattersall Stakes), then we may have to think about the Dewhurst.

"He is very well and firmly on track for his next start. He is already working with the three-year-olds and is horse that can hopefully keep the dream alive."

An outing at Newmarket has also been mapped out for Best Of Days, with the Juddmonte Royal Lodge pencilled in as his most likely target.

Having bolted up by six lengths on his debut at Sandown, the son of Azamour was just touched off last time out in the Acomb Stakes at York.

Palmer added: "It was only his second run at York and he did very well again. He will now head for the Royal Lodge."
