William Haggas expects One Master to raise her game in the TRM Ballyogan Stakes at the Curragh on Friday evening.

The daughter of Fastnet Rock won her final two starts of last season, including a Listed success at Ascot in October.

She was beaten into fourth place when favourite to make a winning reappearance in the Chartwell Fillies’ Stakes at Lingfield last month, but Haggas feels his charge is now in a better place – both physically and mentally.

Haggas said: “It’ll be a tough race as it’s a Group Three, but I’m very pleased with her.

“She was a bit fresh at Lingfield. I think she’s much better and much more focused now.

“We’re looking forward to running her.”

One Master is joined on the trip across the Irish Sea by the Ed Vaughan-trained Hikmaa, who finished sixth in the same Lingfield Group Three in May.

Sorelle Delle Rose takes a step up in grade after impressing in a Gowran handicap for Dermot Weld last week, while Henry de Bromhead saddles Gorane, who has twice finished second in Listed company this spring.

Aidan O’Brien’s Actress, the Jim Bolger-trained Dawn Delivers and Golden Spell from Johnny Murtagh’s yard complete the seven-strong field.
