Ismail Mohammed's rapidly-progressive Good Effort  is one of 12 possibles for the Betway Hever Sprint Stakes at Lingfield on Saturday.

The five-year-old has won his last three outings, at Deauville, Newcastle and at Lingfield last time out.

As short as 5-2 for the All-Weather Championships Sprint Final on Good Friday, he will be reverting to the minimum distance this weekend, but it proved no barrier on his penultimate outing in the north east.

David O'Meara's Watchable may be getting on in years as a 10-year-old but he bounced back to winning form at Wolverhampton earlier this month.

Kevin Ryan has entered Major Jumbo, who has not been seen since being beaten just over four lengths in the the Ayr Gold Cup.

There is possible Irish interest in the form of two entries from Denis Hogan – Hathiq, who rapidly made his mark in handicaps last summer, and the twice-raced Sceptical – as well as Gerard O'Leary's Primo Uomo.

Corinthia Knight, Hareem Queen and Royal Birth are also among the entry.
