The Newmarket trainer reports the pair to be in good form for the handicap over an extended mile, for which there are 19 entries.

The duo clashed at Kempton in October, with Via Serendipity beating his stablemate by a length and a half.

"I think both the owners would be keen to run. It's a nice prize and both horses have been in good form," said Williams.

"I hope they run well."

Via Serendipity was successful over this course and distance last month, while Pinnata was on target over a mile at Kempton on his latest start.

Richard Hannon's Fox Power, the Tom Dascombe-trained Arcanada and Richard Fahey's Another Torch, who were second, third and fourth respectively behind Via Serendipity over the course and distance, are among the entries.

Others in the mix include three from the Mark Johnston stable – Cardsharp, Blown By Wind and Smile A Mile.

The first two mentioned are among 15 entries for the Bombardier British Hopped Amber Beer Lady Wulfruna Stakes.

Johnston has also put in Marie's Diamond in the Listed contest over seven furlongs.

Urban Icon, who was third in the Greenham Stakes and eighth in the 2000 Guineas last year is an interesting possible from the Hannon stable.

Old favourites Eve Johnson Houghton's Goring and the David O'Meara-trained Gulliver are among others given this option.
