Rattled by a Stradivarius haymaker on Day Three, the Racing and Sports Pricing Model rolls into Day Four behind on the scorecards and needing to land some decent shots to get back in the game. Thankfully, with three races on the card that fit the brief, there are plenty of good chances to punch to the front.

Assessed Prices:

Hardwicke Stakes: Anthony Van Dyck $4.00; Elarqam $4.50; Hamish $8.50; Fanny Logan $8.50; Defoe $9.50.

Commonwealth Cup: Lope Y Fernandez $4.00; Pierre Lapin $4.00; Kimari $9.00.

Queen's Vase: Al Dabaran $3.75; Santiago $4.00; Nobel Prize $7.50; Berkshire Rocco $7.50; Born With Pride $7.50.

First on the agenda is the Hardwicke but the early market has it's guard up here. There doesn't seem to be a way for the Model to get through that ~15% defence and land any meaningful blow.

There's an opening in the Commonwealth Cup market, however, with the Model taking a fairly pointy view of the race, giving it's two most likely a combined 50% chance of winning.

There's already room to play given that. Lope Y Fernandez and Pierre Lapin are both available to back at $5.50 and some clever shopping may see better secured between now and the jump.

Time to throw the left, right combo, and hopefully finish with an uppercut in the Queen's Vase where Al Dabaran is trading around $6.00 and marked much shorter than that by the Model.

O'Brien and Moore have been trolling the Model this week, arriving in time to knock of First Receiver before getting there too early (perhaps) on Monarch Of Egypt, but despite a rocky couple of days the relationship remains a strong one.

She likes winners (apart from that filthy rotten Stradivarius...), and Moore and O'Brien are winners, so she finds a way to back Santiago as well.
