Let's hope the guys all try to follow his lead on this good day of racing with the Premier Bowl and the Sha Tin Trophy plus two Class 2s on the card.
The Premier Bowl is G2 over 1200m and 12 runners will line up. Courier Wonder has looked special and comes in to this on 2.6 for Size-Moreira. Naboo Attack is also promising and is on 4.4 for Hayes-Badel. Harmony and Rich is in the mix on 7.2, Skyfield who is top weight is on 11.0 and Super Wealthy 13.0.
The Oriental Watch 60th Anniversary Sha Tin Trophy is also G2 over 1600m. It's very open with Sky Darci on 4.4 for Fownes-Moreira, Tourbillon Diamond on 4.8 Shum-Badel and Waikuku 8.2 value for Size-Purton.
In between the two G2s there's the Parmigiani Fleurier Excellent Handicap Class 2 has a field of 10 for the 1800m contest. We were impressed with C P Brave in his recent outing and he's on 3.2 here for Tony Millard who has booked Moreira for the ride. Berlin Tango 5.1 and Zebrowski 6.6 look possible placings.
And then there's a get out in Race 10, the Piaget Excellent Handicap Class 2 over 1200m where it should be a fantastic finish as we have Fantastic Treasure on 1.1 for Hayes-Schofield. As he's such a short priced favourite there is value in some of the other runners on decent odds, such as Winning Dreamer on 10, the other "fantastic" horse Fantastic Way on 11.0 and a "roughie" (not sure why so rough) is California Rad on 28.0.
