Joao Moreira got his 800th Hong Kong winner and rode a treble at Sha Tin on Sunday.
Unfortunately for us he didn’t ride the winner in the Class 2 Staunton Handicap over the 1600m with his mount Heztheoneforus only fifth. The win went to the Benno Yung trained Not Usual Talent with Keith Yeung on board.
Grand Chancellor was second and Zac Purton’s mount Harmony Victory managed third after coming from a wide draw. Beauty Spirit was fourth.
