Sistercharlie continued her great run in the Beverly D to defeat the William Haggas trained Awesometank by 3 lengths. Competitionofideas, another Brown pupil, fended off Fleeting for third. Magic Wand went to the Million.
The Secretariat was the turn of Valid Point with the Coolmore rep Van Beethoven running a great race to finish second in his first US star. The last Zip was third.
Bricks and Mortar was favourite for the Million and duly obliged defeating Magic Wand by ¾ length with Bandua third and Robert Bruce fourth.
At Saratoga Got Stormy stormed away with the Fourstardave with favourite Racing Bull second and Uni third.
