This is the highlight of Thursday's card at Meydan.
It is G3 level and is over 2810m and is intriguing. Spanish Mission is trained by David Simcock for Team Valor. He won the Jockey Club Derby Invitational at Belmont and has looked good in trackwork although this is a first up for him and that could be a bit of a challenge. In the UK he's on 5/4, with the Godolphin Appleby pair of Secret Advisor and Dubhe on 4/1 and 5/1. They finished 1st and 3rd in the Meydan Cup over this trip and on this surface.
They are all looking to proceed to either the Sheema or the Cup itself on World Cup night.
