Without a Kentucky Derby on the near horizon, we travel to Oaklawn Park for a Gr1.
Its for f&m 4+ over 1700m. There are only three horses on single figures in the Morning Line and they are Come Dancing on 3/1, Ce Ce on 7/2 and Serengeti Empress on 4/1. We like the latter here – Joe Talamo has the ride for Tom Amoss and she was the 2019 Kentucky Oaks winner and has won a Gr 2 this prep.
Come Dancing did well at the 2019 Breeders' but this is her first start since then. D Wayne Lukas trains and Florent Geroux has the ride. Ce Ce is the mount of our mate Victor Espinoza. We wish them all well.
