With a week to go to the Championships, Sunday's Sha Tin card is rather low key.
The 9th Race is the Cornwall Handicap on the AWT over 1200m. We like Will Power here for Douglas Whyte and Karis Teetan and it looks like we are not the only ones as he is on top here at 3.. He's 3 for 4 on the AWT and has a nice light weight.
Encore Boy is on 7.9 with Antoine Hamelin riding for Ricky Yiu. Hamelin continued his good start in Hong Kong with a winner at Happy Valley on Wednesday. Encore Boy has 2 wins over this track and distance.
Gunnison on 4.4 hasn't won for a while but he's back down to Class 2, has a good draw and Moreira rides. Massive Rocket is our roughie value for Vincent Ho and Francis Lui is going for his third consecutive win and is on 17.0.
If the budget allows add King's Shield 5.2 – he loves the AWT.
