May racing is closing with the G3 Lion Rock and the Class 2 Amah Rock the highlights.
The Lion Rock comes in as Race 9 and has 11 contenders for the 1600m contest. Beauty Legacy sits on top of the market on 3.0 for Size-Moreira with the Caspar Fownes trained Southern Legacy unable to go to Singapore to defend his title staying home and hoping to add this race to the Champion's Mile. 6.5 but as usual these prices could change.
Not much between the rest of the field with Harmony Victory on 8.5, General's Delight who gets in with a light weight on 9.8 and our roughie here is Dances With Dragon on 18.0.
The Amah Rock is Class 2 over the 1200m and there are several with good 1000m form moving up in trip. Lucky Express for Size-Moreira is on 2.7, Lucky More 5.4 Shum-Purton and Stronger whom we like a lot on 9.2 with John Moore legging up promising apprentice Jerry Chau, and California Whip 12.0 for Cruz-Hamelin.
Purton got a winner on Wednesday at Happy Valley while Moreira was sidelined so there will be much interest in those two riders.
