Favourites win in Japan

Both of Sunday's G3 races went to the favourites.

At Hakodate the Sprint 1200m went to Diatonic by 2 lengths from Daimai Fuji 34.3 and then Jo Mandeling was third and Aussie-bred Fiano Romano fourth.

At Tokyo over the 1600m on the dirt favourite Café Pharoah was an easy winner for Damian Lane with Dieu du Vin 5 lengths behind in second.  They were followed by two outsiders – Kenshinko on 162.5 in third and Thunder Blitz on 137.2 fourth.
