The Debutante for the girls and the Futurity for the boys are the features on Saturday.
Both are over 1400m and it is always interesting to compare the times. We have to go for Snowfall in the Debutante as that is what is happening here and she's 7/1. Wayne Lordan rides for Aidan. Jim Bolger's Melea is on 7/4 and by Epaulette so of Aussie interest. Shale beat Snowfall by 5 lengths the last time they met and is on 2/1
The Futurity field of 9 is headed by Lope de Vega's son Cadillac on 7/4 from Jessica Harrington's yard. We like Van Gogh – he's by American Pharoah out of the lovely mare Imagine, who we knew when she was a foal. Seamie Heffernan will ride for Aidan and they are on 7/2. Southern Cape also has his supporters and is on 6/1.
