But he showed not only speed but great fighting tenacity to hold off the interloper Healthy Happy who ran a blinder with the margin between the first two just a short head.
The Amah Rock provided a debut win for the David Hayes-trained Naboo Attack. He's a very big horse and showed he has talent to match in winning this 1200m Class 2 ahead of Mr. Croissant. Trillion Win was not disgraced in third.
Vincent Ho was the jockey on the winner and that gave him a 4-timer.
