This was part of a treble for Aidan ad Ryan and in this race there was a comfortable 1 ¼ lengths back to Njord with third going to Power Under Me.

The Kilboy Estate had a rough start with Oodnadatta dislodging his rider and then causing trouble to some of the other runners with in the end Insinuendo surviving to win for Willie McCreary  with Billy Lee riding.  April Showers 9/1 was second and Lovely Esteem 16/1 third. Creative Belief was a non-runner and Angel Power one of the victims of Oodnadatta's shenanigans.
