Winning Trainer: Brad Widdup

On the run: "Kerrin knew what was underneath him. Everyone was saying, dry tracks and all that. I've always dismissed it, it's just getting the right run. I was pretty happy to see Entriviere go forward and do that.

On the win: "It's fantastic. It's great for the team and she's been great for us. This race came from nowhere, big money, and it's fantastic. I'm over the moon for the owners and our staff. Twelve months is a long wait but I'll take it every day of the week."

Must have thought you had 2 big races won?: "We were close but we didn't. But how good is she?

Worried missed turn?: "You do because it's a short period with these horses and when you get a good one, you want to make the most of it. It was great."

Finally got luck: "She does deserve it. It's great to see, it has been a long wait, not only me but for the owners and staff. Everyone is a part of it and it's great to see. I can't do anything about the weather, that's one thing I can't do (anything about). But she has been great. The whole preparation she's been flying and I've been trying to keep a lid on it."

"I thought we were in for a good performance today if we could get the right run. Finally. It (has been the story of her career) and even early on in her two-year-old career, she was very unlucky there in a couple of those good races and it's just fantastic to see her get a reward today."

"I was hoping to get her out to 2000 this time through but I might have to change that after today. She did and a good positive ride from Kerrin, we had nothing to lose today and he nailed it."

On the future: "I would like to get her down to Melbourne. We have got that race next week, the Empire Ros, but everything is going to have to be right with her. This makes it a bit easier winning today.

Winning Jockey: Kerrin McEvoy

On the win: "Sometimes the barriers just force your hand. She's been having no luck. Today was a case of getting the first half right, getting her into the clear and letting her rip home because she's been finishing really well without much luck.

On the mare: "Brad has done a great job with her and the whole team have kept the faith in this mare. She is a quality winner of that race, she's done a great job.

Beaten Jockeys:

Jason Collett (Madam Rouge): "Stop start race didn't really suit. Was held up but when clear was unable to make up that ground."

Glyn Schofield (Nudge): "She didn't have the sprint when I needed it."

Josh Parr (Sweet Deal): "Terrific effort. Slowly run race, I missed the boat at the top of the straight and then had to try and chase them down."

Rachel King (Forbidden Love): "Massive run. She just needs a little bit more give in the track."

Andrew Adkins (Media Award): "It was a good record from her. She had a good weight for a small horse. Got caught deep the trip and she got to the line very well."

Tommy Berry (Entriviere): "She just got caught wide there. She was just about to slot in and the pace came out of the race. I was deep and going keen so I let her stride on. To run the 1400m she needs to get cover."

Tim Clark (Vangelic): "She ran extremely well. I was pretty proud of her effort. She is having a terrific preparation."

Sam Clipperton (Rocha Clock): "Great run. Really proud of her effort. Been beaten by a genuine G1 mare."

Brock Ryan (Madam Legend): "She tried hard but she was a bit fired up today. I think that took the sprint out of our legs in the end."

Alysha Collett (Tricky Gal): "Just needed luck in running. She went well."

Robbie Dolan (Startantes): "She ran OK. Didn't pull up 100% sound."
