Nash Rawiller’s Sydney riding stint has been cut short by a suspension incurred at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

Rawiller has been riding in the harbour city during the annual break in the Hong Kong racing but was outed for seven meetings for his ride on Der Meister in the Bledisloe Cup Festival Handicap.

He pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding when shifting his ground and hampering Kanji when passing the winning post the first time.

Rawiller will be able to ride at Saturday’s Missile Stakes meeting at Randwick, with his suspension to commence on Sunday.

Punters are unlikely to see him ride in Sydney again after Saturday as he is due to return to Hong Kong for the start of the new racing season.

Rawiller last week steered the Chris Waller-trained Japonisme to victory at Rosehill and links again with the stable aboard Hollywood Bound and Sweet Fire.

He also rides Liberty’s Choice for Gai Waterhouse in the Missile Stakes and Scottish Border for Garry Frazer.
