New Zealand star Xtravagant has drawn nicely in gate three for his Australian debut after impressing in two runaway Group 1 victories in his homeland.

Darren Weir has three runners and had mixed fortunes at the barrier draw, Perfect Reflection close to the rail in gate two, Mahuta in the middle in nine while Palentino will have to overcome the extreme outside gate.

Mick Price also has a trio of acceptors and all drew well with VRC Derby winner Tarzino in gate four, Ready For Victory five and the filly Sailing By jumping from seven.

Ciaron Maher has a pair of runners in VRC Oaks winner Jameka and Bon Aurum, who drew alongside each other in 12 and 11 respectively.

Michael Moroney also has two acceptors and they too are drawn wide, Tivaci in 13 and Tulsa in 15, the latter also an acceptor for the Randwick Guineas in Sydney.

The other stable with dual representation is David Hayes-Tom Dabernig, Sovereign Nation drawing eight and Risque in 10.

Sydney colts Vanbrugh and River Wild are both in the inside half of the field drawing gate one and six respectively.

Snoopy from Team Hawkes rounds out the field from gate 14.
