Nineteen fillies and mares have been entered for Saturday’s Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill.
John O’Shea has a strong hand with three nominations including the unbeaten Ghisoni, a last start winner of the Surround Stakes.
He has also entered Tea Rose Stakes winner Pearls and Italy, winner of yesterday’s Canberra Guineas.Chris Waller has entered two mares , Group 1 winner Amicus and stakeswinner Telepathic.
Quality mare Lucia Valentina holds an entry as does Guy Walter Stakes winner Solicit, Peeping and Tinto.Several Melbourne mares have been entered including Myer Classic winner Politeness, last-start winner Azkadellia and Anaphora, along with the fillies Sacred Eye and Don’t Doubt Mamma.
