Suspect it was a case of the penny starting to drop for EXCELTIC last start when a close sixth in the Rosebud. Was winding up well out wide late like a step up to 1400m would be ideal. Gets that here and will be fitter again third up.
ARAMAYO was a strong winner at Canterbury 17 days ago. Tougher here but is certainly showing enough promise to suggest he can handle it. DANAWI will go forward and take catching.
