The Jarrod Mclean-trained Trap For Fools has been withdrawn from the Coongy Cup at Caulfield following a stewards' inquiry into the horse's stabling.
Traps For Fools is prepared at Yangery but was found at the Warrnambool training complex used by Darren Weir on race morning.
Racing Victoria stewards ordered the withdrawal of Trap For Fools on the grounds the horse was not stabled at the premises that McLean is licensed to train from.
Stewards have adjourned the inquiry.
