2018 CARBINE CLUB STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Quackerjack and Yulong January can both push forward to offset wide draws. Irukandji looks prominent from a low draw.
GOOD 'N' FAST ran a much better race out to the mile in the Guineas. Really liked his effort first up from a break and his peak last season came over the mile here. Flemington mile looks the ideal for him and tipping he runs a big race.
YULONG JANUARY ran well at Caulfield and should get the mile well. Has the tactical pace to offset the wide draw.
RANIER might need some luck getting a run from barrier one but he did a good job to win last time and shapes as a key hope off that formline. Saccharo is one that can run well at big odds.
