Group One winner Maid Of Heaven has been ruled out of the autumn carnival.
Trainer Mark Newnham advised Racing NSW stewards that the filly has a 'veterinary issue'.
The winner of the Spring Champion Stakes when she gave former jockey Newnham his first G1 success was scheduled to trial at Warwick Farm on Tuesday.Newnham advised that Maid Of Heaven is unlikely to race again this season, raising the prospect that the Arrowfield Stud owned filly may go to stud in the spring.
Newnham still has a strong team of 3YO fillies for the autumn including G1 Flight Stakes placegetter Nakeeta Jane and VRC Oaks runner-up Greysful Glamour.
