2019 BIRTHDAY CARD STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
A field of 12 faces the starter in this year's Birthday Card Stakes with not a great deal of speed on paper.
SERENE MISS (6) really caught the eye first up when working home strongly to finish a close eighth behind Renewal. Didn't have the best of luck there and is expected to improve sharply racing second up. No concerns with the wet track and she should prove hard to hold out.
AVANTAGE (3) is a big watch fresh in her Australian debut. Form from across the ditch is very good and sees her measure right up. Has trialled well in the lead up and looms as a major threat. SWEET SCANDAL (5) did a great job last start when pilot error saw her not right in the finish. Racing well, major threat. RESIN (2) the next in line.
