2019 VINERY STUD STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Easily the main highlight of the afternoon with this year's Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes. Not a lot of obvious speed on paper, but the main market hopes have drawn well and expect them to be prominent.
VERRY ELLEEGANT (3) split star fillies Amphitrite and Fundamentalist on debut for the Chris Waller stable, before spacing her rivals in the Phar Lap Stakes last start. Returned a new career peak there and she looks to get similar conditions here. Still does plenty wrong, but has the 'X' factor and should prove very hard to beat.
NAKEETA JANE (1) is airborne this preparation and brings the A1 form finishing third behind The Autumn Sun last start. Just has to replicate that form out to 2000m.
EL DORADO DREAMING (2) held her own against the older horses last start when finishing second in the Coolmore. Hasn't done much winning (1/12) but is rarely far away. POHUTUKAWA (8) the best of the rest.
