2019 EYE LINER STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Expecting I'm A Rippa and Bel Burgess to show speed from the gates. GAULOIS (11) caught the eye first up when he ran on well to place at Doomben over 1200m. Takes a step up in grade but he has never missed a place second up and has a strong record at this distance. Has the in-form Cahill in the saddle so ticks a few boxes.
CHAPTER AND VERSE (7) found the Group 1 too tough last time but he had scored an Eagle Farm win and a Group 3 fourth in his other two runs this campaign so this suits better. I'M A RIPPA (2) will find this much easier than last week's Stradbroke. Has claims on his previous third in the BRC Sprint.
NATCH (13) has drawn wide but is racing well so has claims with any luck. MR MARBELLOUZ (5) was close up over this distance last time and gets blinkers on.
