RANDWICK KENSINGTON August 17

RACE 3 (9) PANDEMIC: Justified short price on debut when he stormed to a convincing win in fast time over 1000m at Wyong on July 23. Get the feeling Godolphin have a good opinion of his potential and they will find out what he has to offer here as he meets some handy winners from last season. Happy to bank on him as he's got the edge in race fitness and the right draw to stalk what is likely to be a hot pace.

RACE 8 (6) BULL MARKET: Trialled strongly leading into his first-up run at Canterbury on July 24 where he was brought undone by the soft track conditions. He is a top of the ground runner and getting much firmer conditions this weekend coupled with a 3kg drop in weight should see him improve sharply. He is well placed in this average BM78 field on his best form and is worth an each way throw at the stumps at his appealing value price.

RACE 9 (13) TELL ME: The Hawkes stable knows when the time is right to switch cities with their horses and it's easy to see why they have shipped this sharp short course sprinting mare from Melbourne for an ideal 1100m race over a course and distance where she has won her only previous start. Add to that the significant 4kg drop in weight from her last start unlucky second over 1200m at Caulfield (beaten a nose) to the limit weight over this favourable shorter trip and you should be getting a great sight from this mare at her early double figure odds.

TRIAL WATCH REPORT

NOTED TRIAL RUNNERS – August 17-18

RANDWICK SATURDAY: All Cylinders (R3); Rebel Miss (R4); November Man (R4); God Of Thunder (R4); Wolfe (R6) Special Missile (R7); Wren's Day (R7); Girl Tuesday (R7); Cradle Mountain (R7); Venezuela (R8); Laburnum (R9); Mister Songman (R9); Murillo (R9).

REBEL MISS (Warwick Farm July 26): Honest mare looks primed for another good campaign after her sharp 807m heat win where she sprinted quickly over the top of the leaders in the last 100m after being held up behind a line of three from the turn. She put the time on the board, running a fast closing sectional to record the quickest of the five heats over the distance (447.37; 33.35).

CRADLE MOUNTAIN (Warwick Farm August 9): He required this trial after his last start Rosehill failure and was always in control of the 1000m heat for Group and Listed horses to win comfortably from the G1 winner Pierata - we now need to see him do it under the pressure of race conditions! GIRL SUNDAY's fourth in the same heat had merit.

KEMBLA GRANGE SATURDAY: Penang (R1) Californiadeepshot (R1); Landstrasse (R3); Dulcero (R5); Human Nature(R6).

PENANG (Randwick May 31): The Snowden team has another impressive I Am Invincible youngster with this filly showing a touch of class with the way she won her 745m heat in the quickest of the 2YO heats (43.29;33.10). This was her first trial and she can only come on from the experience. She had a good break before her second trial when held together for a sound third on a heavy track at Randwick on July 30.

TAREE SUNDAY:  Camellia Legend (R1); Wounded Soldier (R3).

RECENT TRIAL WATCH WINNERS: Hit The Rim; Ballistica; Maroch; Appian Way; Standout; Dawn Passage; Alizee; Super Oasis; Camp Rifle; Steel Diamond; Sangita; Unimpeded; Making Whoopee; C'est La Vie; Rambler Rebel.
