2019 CHELMSFORD STAKES – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Another key highlight with this year's Group 2 Chelmsford Stakes. Not a lot of obvious speed on paper, Samadoubt should lead fairly comfortably again.
AVILIUS (1) hit the line well enough first up and is sure to appreciate the step up to the mile. Very well treated under the WFA conditions and while likely to get back again, he should prove very strong late. Although he is still likely to still be short of his best, he still should be too good.
UNFORGOTTEN (12) returned in good order last start and much like Avilius she should have good improvement leading into this. Won this race last year and has to be respected.
SAMADOUBT (2) was too good on-speed when leading throughout in the Winx Stakes. Looks to get similar favours here and should take some catching, while CON TE PARTIRO (14) is another improver.
